“Entertainer of the Year” Sunny Deol says he serves well as an actor

Sunny Deol was announced as the “Entertainer of the Year” at the NDTV Indian of the Year Awards held in New Delhi on Saturday. Sunny Deol accepted the award from NDTV Editor-in-Chief Sanjay Puglia. Sunny Deol giving a bumper hit Gadar 2 Last year, it dedicated its award to “those who are always happy and never regret”. After receiving the award, Sunny Deol said, “Thank you very much for this honour. I believe everyone is trying to achieve something or the other. Today, one’s work is not noticed, one feels left out. Be dedicated. Always happy.” And this is the reward for those who never repent.

Sunny Deol added, “We love to entertain people. This tradition started with my father. We feel very little compared to what he has achieved. I am also in politics. But I think I serve the country better as an actor.” While Atlee attended the event, Sunny Deol was asked if he wanted to work with him. On this, Sunny Deol added, “I am doing two films from the South. In Bollywood, we forget our roots. But people in the South are always connected to their roots. I think, that flavor is coming back and it’s a nice mix… of films across languages.” Check out the pictures here:

Sunny Deol has had an illustrious career spanning four decades. Debuted with Desperate In 1983. Sunny Deol is known for movies like Tridev, Trickster, Ghayal, Shankara, RobberA few names. Gadar 2 It is a sequel to his 2001 hit film GadarSunny Deol played the role of Tara Singh in the film. Gadar 2 Tsunami hit the box office.

Speaking at the NDTV Indian of the Year, Hon’ble Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar was the Chief Guest, along with other dignitaries including Union Ministers Hardeep Puri, Ashwini Vaishnav and Smriti Zubin Irani. The event featured some of the biggest names in entertainment, politics, business, sports and culture. This year the theme of the event was “India – A Transformative Power”. These awards have consistently honored India’s heroes, famous or unseen, for their extraordinary contribution to society.
