Box office numbers for Margaon Express The second week saw a decline. On day 10, the film collected 1.50 crores through the ticket counters, reports Sacknilk. So far, the comedy-drama has collected ₹17.15 crore at the domestic box office. Released on March 22, Margaon Express marks the directorial debut of Kunal Khemu. The film tells the story of three childhood friends played by Prateek Gandhi, Divyendu and Avinash Tiwari, who embark on a trip to Goa that takes an unexpected turn. The film also stars Nora Fatehi, Chhaya Kadam and Remo D’Souza in lead roles.

A day ago, the official Instagram page of Mumbai Police shared a scene from the film to create awareness about the importance of seat belts. In this particular sequence, the lead roles played by Prateek Gandhi, Divyendu and Avinash Tiwari are seen sitting in a car. Avinash is behind the wheel, Divyendu is in the passenger seat and Pratik is sitting in the back. None of them were wearing seat belts. In a hurry, Avinash starts the car and it hits a fire hydrant. The scene ends with the message “Seatbelt is important” flashing on the screen.

While sharing the video, Mumbai Police wrote, “Express trip without seat belt will take you straight to the hospital.”

After the release of Madgaon Express, Kunal Khemu shared a bunch of BTS images from the film on his Instagram handle. Sharing his experience, the actor-director wrote, “From the first day of the shoot to the day I told the final pack-up on the sets of Madgaon Express. Every day is special in many ways. And I couldn’t have done it without my amazing team of actors and technicians. Many colors of friendship that the movie shows and many colors of my own personality I got to experience from this movie. I wish you all a very happy Holi and thank you very much for the love you have shown our film. May this festival of colors bring happiness and good luck to you all.”

Margaon Express It tells the story of three childhood friends who embark on a trip to Goa, which takes an unexpectedly dramatic turn. The film is produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment.
