Kunal Khemu’s directorial debut Margaon Express It has finally crossed the ₹10 crore mark in terms of revenue. 1.50 crores at the domestic box office, the film hit the theaters on 5th day, March 22, according to Sacknilkwith this, the film’s total collection now stands at ₹11.15 crore, reports said. Margaon ExpressThe box office collection on its first Tuesday in theaters saw a slight dip compared to its fourth day’s business, when it earned ₹2.60 crore. The comedy-drama revolves around three friends who take a beach getaway to Goa. All is well until things take an unexpected turn. Backed by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment, the film stars Prateek Gandhi, Divyendu and Avinash Tiwari in lead roles.
A few days after the release of his film Kunal Khemu Narrated his experience of sitting on the director’s chair. On Monday, the Blood money The actor shared a series of behind-the-scenes pictures from the sets Margaon Express With a detailed note. On the occasion of Holi, the actor-director wrote, “From the first day of the shoot to the day I told the last pack up on the set. Margaon Express, every day is special in many ways. And I couldn’t have done it without my amazing team of actors and technicians. Many colors of friendship that the movie shows and many colors of my own personality I got to experience from this movie. I wish you all a very happy Holi and thank you very much for the love you have shown our film. May this festival of colors bring happiness and good luck to you all.”
Ahead of the film’s release, actress Soha Ali Khan, wife of Kunal Khemu, also shared a BTS video from the sets of the film. Margaon Express, with screenings and several promotional events. In her heartfelt note, the actress wrote, “It’s safe to say that since the age of 8, film sets have been a second home for you; Kunal; we even met on a film set sixteen years ago – may have found you there. You too. You are an actor. So your mettle has been proven time and time again – in all genres but today you share your love, sweat and yes tears with the audience – as a writer-director.
