When asked if he felt starstruck after meeting any star, Diljit said, “My first day of shooting for a Hindi film was with Kareena Kapoor. Flying Punjab, at that time I was like, ‘I have seen this actor’s films. Today I am working with her. So, that was a big moment.”
Diljit added, “I never thought in my life that I will meet her. Kareena madam said that her team is a big fan of mine and they want to shoot. Later I realized why she said that. We didn’t have a scene. Just started. Like her. A great artist calms you down when you first work with them.” Diljit recalled Kareena’s warm gesture to make her feel comfortable and said, “I felt great.”
Diljit Dosanjh is a self-proclaimed Kareena Kapoor fan. After Udta Punjab, he shared screen space with her in the crew along with Tabu, Kriti Sanon.
