Aamir Khan On Shooting PK Radio Scene Naked:

The Great India Kapil ShowA recent episode featuring Aamir Khan was laughable. During an interaction with comedian Kapil Sharma, the actor spoke about the famous radio scene from his film PK, in case you missed it, in this particular scene Aamir’s character is naked and only uses a radio to cover his privates. The star shared that director Rajkumar Hirani had informed him that he would be given a pair of stomach guard-like shorts for the scene. The actor recalled, “I wore those shorts on the day of the shoot. I came out with the radio. Raju had said that there was no phone on the set. He hid everyone’s phones. I had to run into that scene. As long as I was walking it was fine, but when I wanted to run… when I ran the shorts would come off because they were fixed with tape.

Aamir Khan He added, “I faced a lot of difficulties in that shot. I wanted to run faster, but I couldn’t. After a couple of attempts I said to Raju, ‘Stubborn man (Let’s remove this.)’ I wanted to give the perfect shot. So I set it aside. I told everyone to get behind the camera and I ran away. I thought it would be really weird walking around naked on set. We are not used to it. I used to worry about how to do it. Everyone was watching. I was very ashamed.”

“I swear, when I got on set, I just wanted to work and my shot was going haywire. So I said to Raju, ‘These are unimportant things. What’s the big deal if you see me naked? We need to get a shot. I was not ashamed at that time. I was also shocked that I did it,” Aamir Khan added.
