Akshay Kumar and Radhika Madan Currently shooting SarafiraAn official remake of the National Award winning film Surrai Potru, Suriya is playing the lead role. A video footage from the shoot went viral on Tuesday and has been trending since morning. The viral footage shows Akshay Kumar and Radhika Madan dancing on a rooftop with two other men. Teaser of the movie Released in February this year. The teaser shows a glimpse of Akshay Kumar who will go to any lengths to fulfill his dreams. Akshay Kumar and Suriya shared a collaboration post on Instagram and captioned it, “Dream so big, they call you crazy.” The film is slated to release on 12 July 2024. “Sarafira releasing in theaters on 12th July 2024 only. #MaarUdi,” read the caption.
Apart from Akshay Kumar, Sarfira also stars Paresh Rawal, Radhika Madan and Seema Biswas. The film is co-produced by Aruna Bhatia (Cape of Good Films), Suriya and Jyothika (2D Entertainment) and Vikram Malhotra (Abundantia Entertainment)… Music by GV Prakash Kumar. This movie will be directed by Sudha Kongara.

Surrai Potru It won several awards at the National Film Awards in 2022. Suriya won the Best Actor Award for his performance in the film. Aparna Balamurali won the Best Actress award for this film. Surrai Potru also won Best Feature Film, Best Screenplay and Best Background Score. Directed by Sudha Kongara, the film was based on the life of Captain GR Gopinath, the founder of Simplify Deccan.
