A box office report for the week of Bad Mian Short Mian Finally here it is. After seeing a significant drop on day 6, the Ali Abbas Zafar directorial saw its collection rise on its first Wednesday at the cinema. On day 7, the Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff starrer earned Rs 2.50 crore at the ticket counter. Sacknilkwith this Bad Mian Short MianThe total collection of is close to ₹50 crore. The total collection now stands at ₹48.20 crore. Bad Mian Short Mian Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff are working together on-screen for the first time. The film also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Manushi Chhillar and Alaya F in lead roles.

In his NDTV review, the film critic Saibal Chatterjee wrote, “The story is incredibly hollow. Two crack soldiers, Freddy and Rocky, are court-martialed and dismissed from the army for insubordination. The audience cannot understand this reason until later in the film. But before we get to that point, we see Freddy working in an oil mine in a desert and Rocky fighting a fire and rescuing a cat trapped in Delhi…What is Fast and Furious? Bad Mian Short Mian is It is also infuriatingly fatuous. It lurches breathlessly from one action to the next, trying to relate one great conflict to another in a complex, terrifyingly imaginative way.”
