Veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah recently attended the Cannes Film Festival as part of the screening of his 1976 film. churning, nearly 50 years after its release. The actor, who arrived on the red carpet with wife Ratna Pathak Shah, described the experience as “horribly emotional”. Speaking to Brut India, the actor said, “It felt unreal to me. I have always seen red carpet events on video or in photographs. I have seen all these beautiful women flaunting themselves in their beautiful dresses. I never dreamed that I would be ‘so, I and My wife decided to keep it as simple as possible because I had a teacher in the movie.
He added, “So many faces that made one forget. To see all those people again, who were almost everyone in the unit earlier… I felt so proud of the film. I have always held this film very dear to my heart, I could not hold back the tears. are not
Screening of churning The Cannes Film Festival took place on Friday evening. Naseeruddin, his wife Ratna Pathak Shah, late Smita Patil’s son Prateek Babbar, Varghese Kurian’s daughter Nirmala Kurian, sisters Smita Patil-Anita Patil Deshmukh and Manya Patil Seth were present.
