Remember the premiere scene from the 1993 movie First drug? The series featured the Khan trio – Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Saif Ali Khan – in cameo roles. Directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, First drug It was headlined by Deepak Tijori, Pooja Bhatt and Raveena Tandon. Recently, Deepak Tijori opened up about how Saif’s ex-wife, actress Amrita Singh, did not want Saif to be a part of the film. In an interview with zoom inDeepak recalls, “A film came out in 1993 First drug That we were making, and surprisingly, there was a scene in that film where we wanted all the celebrities to come to the premiere of my character in the film. Deepak Tijori added, “Saif was getting ready, this was his version. How can you do this? We never did all these things, you know. ‘Who does this?’ You go and support someone at the premiere. That moment was shocking for me.”

Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh got married in 1991. They got divorced in 2004. Saif and Amrita are co-parents to their children – Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan.

Meanwhile, Deepak Tijori is all set to make his directorial debut Tipsy. To wish him well, Deepak’s First drug And charity Co-star, actress Pooja Bhatt shared a note on Instagram. Pooja wrote, “Over 30 years of shared laughter, tears, joy and some really trying times… You have remained steadfast and a friend I can call at 4.00 am in any crisis. Today is a big day as your trailer Tipsy Released in few hours. Proud of how you endured. That’s why I’ll be there to cheer you and your team on. Tipsy Released on May 10. The film stars Sonia Birje, Alankrita Sahay and Kaynat Arora in lead roles.
