Ranbir Kapoor’s film has been criticized by many as “misogynistic”, while Anurag heaped praise on Sandeep in his extensive note. Now in the new episode of his daughter Alia Kashyap’s Podcast Young, dumb and nervous, Anurag was asked the question, “What in the world was the Sandeep Reddy Vanga post?” judging myself, Anurag Kashyap Said, “I met him, I like him. I will talk about other people in the industry. Then remember a post domineering (2010) and I got into a fight with Salman Khan… not exactly a fight, but started ranting against him. I was also very angry because of that. I also became isolated, without people understanding. Over time, people began to see things differently. I don’t like this cancellation culture at all.”
He added, “If I have any problem with the film, I will talk to that person. I myself will ask him my questions. We know how many people we look at or think are feminists and they are activists. More than 50 percent of them are currencies. They are not true at all. This guy (Sandeep Reddy Vanga) is what you see. To me he is the most honest, vulnerable and loving person. And I really don’t give a damn. af*** what does anyone think about him or his movie, i wanted to meet the guy and i got a question and i actually watched twice what i asked about his movie.
