Recalling his experience on the first day’s shoot, Nikitin told Siddharth Kannan, “On the first day, I was very shocked because I was a stranger. Nikitin also shared vivid details of an action scene in which Shahrukh Khan encouraged him to perform without restraint. Nikitin said that Shah Rukh Khan has shot the action scene himself despite his shoulder injury. In one scene, Nikitin had to grab Shah Rukh’s cheek and say, ‘Tu apne aap ko bada hero samjta hai kya (Who do you think)?’ Shahrukh Khan’s tips to Nikitin for this scene were – “Do whatever you want. , however you want to do it. The scarier you are, the better the scene will be.”

Nikitin also recalled his fond memories of attending his promotion Chennai Express. This was the first time that Nikitin was included in the promotion of the film. “At the trailer launch I was completely stunned by the reaction of the audience, because I was a nobody. I was standing behind everyone because I didn’t want to block the view of the crowd, but then, Shah sir grabbed my hand and pulled me.
