Actor Jashn Kohli, who played the lead role Amar Singh Chamkila, creating lifelong memories on the sets of Imtiaz Ali’s latest directorial. From bonding with Diljit Dosanjh for fitness to singing the classic “Good Wale Paranthe” with Parineeti Chopra and Imtiaz Ali, Jashn opened up about some of his memorable off-screen ‘shining’ moments in an interview with ANI.

“Diljit Paaji is a focused person. Being a fitness freak, he used to ask me about what I was eating. One day he asked me to bring my suitcase from the room and show him the healthy things in my body. Paaji and I definitely Committed to fitness,” Jashn said.

Jashn also spoke about Diljit’s love for meditation.

“He’s very disciplined and focused. When the shoot was not being done, he was in a state of meditation.,” he added.

Talking about his co-star Parineeti Chopra, Jashn praised her.

“She (Parineeti) is full of life. We used to jam together…she had to gain weight for the film…so we used to sit together and eat parathas. Imtiaz Ali sir loves to eat ‘good wale parathas’. I cherish all those moments, ” recalled Anandi Jashn.

Jashn was seen in the role of Parineeti’s brother Pappu Amar Singh Chamkila,

Despite his limited role, Jashn grabbed the attention of the audience with his screen presence.

“I am very happy that I have fulfilled my dream to be a part of Imtiaz Ali’s world. I thank God for giving me this opportunity. Hope one day I will be its head,” he said. Jashn will be seen in some Punjabi films in the coming months.
