Megastar Amitabh Bachchan recently reacted to a fan’s ‘memorable gesture’ on his and Jaya Bachchan’s 51st wedding anniversary. The actor took to his Instagram on Tuesday to share a video showing how a fan celebrated the couple’s milestone anniversary. The video posted by Bachchan shows an elaborate presentation by a fan that chronicles the life of the celebrity couple, from Jaya’s debut film ‘Guddi’ to their wedding photos. It celebrated their ‘timeless union’ and ‘enduring romance’.
The presentation also depicts the joy brought by their children, Abhishek Bachchan and Shweta Nanda, with several childhood photos of the Bachchan siblings.
Additionally, in the video, a group of New York City fans can be seen cutting the cake with Big B’s huge flag in hand. He proudly posed with a poster of Big B and Jaya Bachchan. Overwhelmed by the gesture, the actor shared a video to express his gratitude.
He wrote, “Through the efforts of Sunil Shah, a dedicated Surat fan, he organized it in NYC and distributed hundreds of t-shirts to people and fans in the USA. Thank you for this memorable gesture.”
Sunil Shah, a fan, took to the comment section and replied, “Sir, it’s been so many years since I was your biggest fan. You are the biggest icon of the country to everyone and especially to me. Keep smiling and thank you for this amazing gesture for me.
Jaya and Amitabh got married on 3 June 1973. They have two children – writer Shweta Bachchan Nanda and actor Abhishek Bachchan.
They have worked together in many films including this Guddi, Ek Nazar, Bavarchi, Sholay, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, Abhiman, Chupke Chupke others.
Meanwhile, on the acting front, Amitabh Bachchan is busy shooting for the film Vettayan, which also stars Rajinikanth. Big B will be seen along with Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Kamal Haasan Kalki 2898 AD,
The film will hit the theaters on June 27. On the other hand, Jaya Bachchan was last seen. Rocky and the Queen of Love With Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi.
