With no money, Bhuppi decides to approach his scattered family for help. When he contacts his sister, Bhuppi learns that their father has passed away and has left everything to him. He then moves to his hometown, where his aunt refuses to sign the documents required to enter his father’s property. The trailer shows glimpses of Bhuppi slowly trying to understand the situation of his father, who committed suicide.
In his extensive caption, Hrithik Roshan spoke about the challenges Vinod Rawat faced while making the film. He wrote, “When Vinod Rawat first talked to me about “Pushtaini”, I could not imagine or imagine the film. I remember it being a great germ of an idea but I thought it was absurd that he would drop everything and devote all his finances to its implementation.”
Hrithik Roshan continued, “We were in the middle of lockdown, Vinod told me that he would be shooting the project in his native Uttarakhand, he would also be directing and acting in the film, and since he didn’t have much funds, his family would be playing all the other characters, I was sure that this There will be an experimental home video. Concerned, I asked him if I could support him in any way but it was clear to him that he wanted to do it himself. Months passed and I heard that the film had been stopped by Covid and that he had spent his last Rs. 15,000. But Vinod was determined and said that he will continue to make the film and if something goes wrong, he will accept it as his fate and stop the project.
Sharing his review Pushtaini, Hrithik Roshan added, “And then one day he came to me with the complete film. I honestly didn’t know what to expect when I went in to see it but to my utter surprise and delight the movie made me laugh, cry and walk away in awe of what this man accomplished all by himself with no help from anyone. Whatever. Pushtaini had a heart and won mine. I know Vinod as a great coach but as an actor, director and producer he really surprised me. How he overcame all his limitations to create this magic was incredible to me.”
