Actor-director Kunal Khemu was pleasantly surprised when Fighter star Hrithik Roshan took to his X (formerly known as Twitter) handle to praise the actor for his performance in the 2020 film Lootcase. It so happened that on Sunday, Hrithik Roshan watched Kunal Khemu’s film Lutkes and left a wonderful note for the actor right after watching the film. He wrote, “Just watched Lootcase. Loved it!! Kunal Khemu is a great actor. Also hearing great reviews for his Madgaon Express. But Lootcase is great. My belated congratulations to its director Rajesh Krishnan and all the cast. And the whole Tim! What a funny movie.
Kunal Khemu responded to his high praise and replied, “Great to read this.. Thank you so much.”

On the work front, Kunal Khemu recently made his directorial debut Margaon Expressthe film stars Prateek Gandhi, Divyendu and Avinash Tiwari along with Nora Fatehi.
For his NDTV review, provided by film critic Saibal Chatterjee Margaon Express 3 out of 5 stars and said, “Margaon Express is a rigmarole that never feels close to overstaying its welcome, even with the post-climax scenes – they interrupt the end credits in a novel, smooth fashion – until the surprise loads and the coercion is all done and The audience should wait until the dust settles.”
