Meanwhile, talking about choosing a location for his self-designed home, Imran wrote, “So… one of the things I have done over the years is building a house. I’ve played an architect in a few movies, I can’t pretend to actually have any training or skills… but I love tinkering and learning! I chose the site because it was unique. Uneven, surrounded by two seasonal streams, perched right at the base of a ridge… and facing the sunset. I quickly learned that the landscape had to dictate the design of the house.

Elaborating on the intention to build the house, Imran Khan wrote, “The intention was not to build a grand vacation villa, but to create something that cues from the landscape. A house is not a view, it is a. A shelter from which to appreciate the view.”
