Anushka Sharma turned a year older on Wednesday (May 1). Jhulan Goswami gave special wishes to Anushka on this special occasion. For the underprivileged, Anushka Sharma will appear in Chakda Express, which is based on the life and career of former Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami. On social media, Jhulan Goswami A video showing glimpses of Anushka from the sets of Chakda Express, the video begins with Anushka wearing an Indian jersey saying, “Don’t worry. Today my name is engraved on the jersey and tomorrow I will create a different identity.” The video then shows Anushka hugging Jhulan Goswami. The clip also features behind-the-scenes moments of the actress on the sets. The video concludes with Anushka and Jhulan cutting a two-tiered cake at the film’s wrap-up party.

Captioning the video on Instagram, Jhulan Goswami wrote, “Happy birthday to Unstoppable Force Anushka Sharma! Great to know you and work with you.”

Jhulan Goswami’s biopic Chakda Express is directed by Prosit Roy. The film was earlier scheduled to premiere on Netflix but faced several delays. Anushka’s production house Clean Slatez parted ways with Netflix, resulting in delays. After Mithali Raj, Jhulan Goswami is the second female cricketer to have her credit. ICYDK: Taapsee Pannu starred in Mithali’s biopic Shabaash Mithu.

Revealing the delay, Anushka told Bazaar India, “I was a part of the beginning of ‘Chakda Express’. I was supposed to work on it first, but the film was postponed due to the pandemic and then I got pregnant. When I finally started working on it, I was very Scared because I’d just had a baby so I wasn’t as strong as I used to be, so I wasn’t in good shape—I’d made myself do different exercises at the gym before but I wasn’t sure if I should start the project, but my inner voice was telling me.
