Recently Rakul Preet Singh said in an interview zoom, She had forced Jackie to propose before marriage. The actress also revealed details about her wedding in Goa and how her friend, actress Bhumi Pednekar played a major role in Jackie’s surprise proposal to her. Rakul said, “Nobody knows the story of the proposal. I forced him to propose to me properly. I said, ‘I’m not walking down the aisle until you propose.’ because marriage The date was fixed, the parents met and the wedding preparations were underway. So why didn’t he propose? I wanted a story. I know we’re going to get married but I want a story for life.”
Rakul Preet Singh added, “I kept telling him, “You have to propose. How do you do it, two-three months to go, now you understand.” The actress shared that Jackie finally proposed to her during their joint bachelor trip in December 2023. “He managed to surprise me. I had no idea. And Bhumi (Pednekar) has played a huge role. Because she orchestrated it, I guess not. Because I would have known if any of my close friends had done it,” she recalls.
