Janhvi Kapoor, whose film Mr. and Mrs. Mahi The film, which hit the theaters just a few days ago, her mother Sridevi did not want her to become an actress. The Great Indian Kapil Showappeared on the show with Janhvi Mr. and Mrs. Mahi Co-starring Rajkummar Rao. When host Kapil Sharma asked Janhvi if she always wanted to act, Janhvi replied, “Mamma has been trying for years to steer me away from this direction. I used to dress up, or make up, then she said to me – ‘Do you know what my dream is? That you will become a doctor one day (For years she tried to keep me away from acting. Whenever I played dress-up in front of the mirror, she would tell me she wanted to see me as a doctor).
It was Janhvi Always clear about her career choice. She assured her mother that she would play a doctor in a film. Janhvi Kapoor, who is yet to come to terms with her mother’s death, recently revealed on Ranveer Allabadia’s podcast show that she was “paranoid” about losing her parents during her childhood days.
Janhvi revealed As a child she used to sneak into her parents’ room to check if they were breathing. Janhvi said, “It’s funny, but even at that age I was always paranoid about missing my parents. Every time they would go out for a night out for an event, or travel for a day without me… even the little things, like doing duty free shopping.” There are and I’ve been on planes with my nanny, I’m always like, ‘They won’t get on the flight, I’ll get up in the night and sometimes go to their room to check if they’re breathing, it was a weird quirk.’
A few days ago, Janhvi visited her mother Sridevi’s favorite place in Chennai – the Muppathaman temple. Janhvi shared photos of her visit. She is seen wearing a lehenga. She is seen posing against the backdrop of a temple. Sharing the photo, Janhvi wrote, “Visited Muppathamman temple for the first time. Favorite place to visit mammas in Chennai.” See here:
On the work front, Janhvi Kapoor was seen in Mr. and Mrs. Mahi recently with Rajkummar Rao. The film is directed by Sharan Sharma, who made his debut with Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl starring Janhvi in the lead role. Shri Smt. Mahi marks Janhvi and Rajkummar Rao’s second collaboration after Roohi.
