Imitation of a comedian Karan Johar A TV show has left Love story of Rocky and Rani The director was visibly upset. It so happened that on Sunday night, Karan Johar shared a statement on his Instagram stories and talked about a comedian mimicking “bad taste”. He narrated his experience while watching television with his mother. Without checking the show or the name of the comedian, Karan Johar wrote, “I was watching television with my mother… and saw a promo of a reality comedy show on a reputable channel… A comic was impersonating me in very poor taste… I was trolled and faceless. And expect it from anonymous people but when your own industry can disrespect someone who has been in business for over 25 years it speaks volumes for the times we live in…it doesn’t even make me angry it makes me sad!”

Filmmaker and dear friend of Karan Johar, Ekta Kapoor shared her statement on her Instagram stories and extended her support. “It happened so many times! Sometimes ugly jokes in the show. And even at an award ceremony. And then they expect you to attend! Karan please ask them to emulate one of your movies or classics,” wrote Ekta. Based on the promo recently shared by Sony Entertainment Television, many are speculating that he is talking about comedian Ketan Singh from Sony TV’s comedy show Madness Machayenge. In the promo, comedian Ketan Singh is seen mimicking the director and calling his chat show Koffee with Karan as Toffee with Churan.
