Karthik Aaryan recently released the trailer of his much awaited film Chandu Champion on social media. in Chandu Champion, Karthik Aaryan steps into the shoes of Paralympic gold medalist Muralikant Petkar. Muralikant Petkar won a gold medal at the 1970 Commonwealth Games and another gold medal at the 1972 Paralympics in Germany. In the engaging trailer, Karthik Aaryan’s character Murali is a man with ambitions to win a gold medal in the Olympics. He faces criticism from his classmates, teachers and parents. He is nicknamed “Chandu” by his classmates but Murali is determined to prove them wrong and win India’s first gold medal at the Olympics. His journey unfolds with his sights set on representing India at the Olympics, prompting him to enlist in the army to hone his skills.

However, fate took a cruel turn as Murali went into a coma for two years after being shot nine times. Still, his indomitable spirit shines through in his refusal to succumb to despair. Through a series of gripping sequences, we witness Chandu’s evolution—from his rigorous training in the army to his relentless pursuit of boxing excellence. The audience witnesses Chandu’s tough journey and the hurdles he overcomes to become India’s first Paralympic gold medallist.

On Thursday, Karthik Aaryan released the first poster of the film. In the poster, Karthik Aryan is seen running on the field drenched in sweat. The caption on the poster reads, “He who refuses to surrender.” The film will hit the theaters on June 14 this year. Captioning the post on Instagram, Karthik Aaryan wrote, “Champion aa raha hai…(Champion is coming). Excited and proud to share the first poster of the most challenging and special film of my career. On Wednesday, Karthik Aaryan shared a glimpse of the film’s first poster on social media. However, things take a surprising turn when his mischievous feline companion, Katori, interrupts his campaign diary.
