Karthik Aaryan is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film. Chandu Champion, recently, he shared a behind-the-scenes video from the sets, depicting an intense battle scene in Kashmir. Karthik revealed that he completed the entire battle scene in one take, a first for him. The video shows fighter jets, bombings and intense fights.
Captioning the post on Instagram, Karthik Aaryan wrote, “7 days to go!! 8 minute single shot war sequence. 4 days of rehearsal. Karthik Aaryan’s journey in his upcoming film Chandu Champion Nothing less than a blockbuster plot twist in a feat that could rival the superhero origin story. To portray India’s first Paralympic gold medalist Muralikant Petkar, the actor underwent a significant physical transformation. After intense workouts and dietary adjustments for the role, Karthik is back to his regular gym routine. However, he continues to challenge himself during workouts. Showing his “champion mentality”, a few days ago, he shared a video on Instagram that included his pull-up routine. But this was no ordinary pull-up, he attached a 15kg weight plate to his waist, making the exercise more difficult.
Captioning the post, he wrote, “Weight-lifted push-ups after weight-lifted pull-ups.”
Directed by Kabir Khan, Chandu Champion Tells the story of one athlete’s resilience and determination. Karthik Aaryan has stepped into the role of Chandu. The film is based on the life of Muralikant Petkar, India’s first Paralympic gold medalist in freestyle swimming.
For the uninitiated, this collaboration is Karthik Aaryan’s first project with director Kabir Khan.
