Meera Rajput and her mother-in-law Nelima Azim has a cordial relationship. On Tuesday, Mira Rajput shared a video clip of Nelima Azim practicing Kathak on her Instagram Stories. Mira wrote on the video, “Can anyone dance like her?” In the clip, the veteran actress-dancer is seen performing Kathak with grace. She wore a white printed salwar suit and wore a traditional ghungroo. Meera and Nelima Azim have been seen hanging out together many times. Meera has also shared her photos on Instagram feed.
Years ago, Mira Rajput shared some beautiful pictures with her mother-in-law. Referring to Rasode Mein Kaun Tha memes, Mira wrote in the caption, “Rasode Mein Kaun Tha (Who was in the kitchen)? You can’t bet on either of us. Bring chai and chikki.” Along with her hashtag, Mira Rajput also mentioned that the picture is the latest addition to her “Parampara (tradition) series.”
If you want an update on Mira Rajput’s Prambara series, Mira Rajput shared a picture of herself and Shahid Kapoor on Instagram a few days ago before sharing this picture with Nelima Azim. In the full-length photo of the happy couple, they are holding each other’s hands, while Mira Rajput leans on Shahid Kapoor with one arm. Just like her post with Nelima Azim, this time too Mira Rajput had a ROFL caption. She said, “Shall I frame your tie life-size for the living room while I set it on the stool?” We are positive that Meera Rajput is referring to the life size picture of Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan as well as the tie sequence from the movie ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham’.
Neelima Azim has also shared photos of her performance. For the uninitiated, Nelima Azim is an accomplished Kathak dancer and trained under the legendary Birju Maharaj’s Kalashram. Sharing a photo with Birju Maharaj, Nelima Azim wrote, “Gurubrahma guruvishnu gurudevo maheshwara. Guru sakshat parabrahma tasmai sri gurve namaha.” See here:
Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput have been married since 2015. The couple welcomed their daughter Misha in 2016 and their son Zain was born in 2018.
