Box Office Collection of Margaon Express It finally crossed the ₹18 crore mark in theaters on its second Tuesday. Kunal Khemu’s directorial debut collected 0.55 crore on its 12th day at the domestic box office. Sacknilk, with this, the comedy drama’s total collection now stands at ₹18.30 crore, reports state. A few days after the release of Margaon Express, Kunal Khemu shared a series of behind-the-scenes pictures from the film’s sets on Instagram. Along with the pictures, the actor-director wrote a detailed note, sharing his experience. Kunal Khemu wrote, “From the first day of the shoot to the day I told the last pack-up on the set. Margaon Express, every day is special in many ways. And I couldn’t have done it without my amazing team of actors and technicians. Many colors of friendship that the movie shows and many colors of my own personality I got to experience from this movie. I wish you all a very happy Holi and thank you very much for the love you have shown our film. May this festival of colors bring happiness and good luck to you all.”
For his NDTV review, FFilm critic Saibal Chatterjee gave Margaon Express 3 out of 5 stars and said, “Margaon Express Even the post-climax scenes are too rigmarole to overstay their welcome – they interrupt the end credits in a novel, slick fashion – adding a load of surprises and forcing the audience to wait until it’s all over. ..”
Saibal Chatterjee added, “Apart from a script that never stops delivering generous doses of hilarity, the comic timing achieved by all three actors brings the riotous farce to life. Each of the three lead actors successfully uses his own style to suit the character he plays. Avinash Tiwari exudes strength and tenacity, channeling joy with his measured underplaying in the guise of stoic ambiguities.
