Lara Dutta revealed that she rejected Bipasha Basu’s role in No Entry. Here’s why

Actress Lara Dutta recently chatted Indian ExpressShe shared that she was offered two roles by Anees Bazmee No entry And one of the roles was played by Bipasha Basu. She said, “I was offered two roles, one done by Bipasha and one done by me. I chose the suspicious Punjabi wife because she was so different from who I am. After that I was set up for a few years. I did and I got our Given the opportunity to work with some of the best directors in the industry.

In another interview with Hotterfly, she opened up about an incident when she faced eve-teasing during her Bollywood debut music launch event, estimate, Lara shared, “I have of course faced many instances of harassment and I have spoken out about them. During the music launch of my first film ‘Andaz’, Priyanka (Chopra), Akshay (Kumar) and I went to Rhythm House in Chandni Chowk, Delhi. I was wearing a saree. As we tried to enter the Rhythm House, there was a huge crowd as Miss World (Priyanka) and Miss Universe were coming together on screen for the first time and Akshay Kumar was there.

Directed by Raj Kanwar, Andaz stars Lara Dutta as Kajal, Priyanka Chopra as Jiya and Akshay Kumar as Raj. Released in 2003, the film completed two decades last year.

Lara Dutta was last seen in Charlie Chopra and The Mystery of Solang Valley. Next, she will be seen in projects like Welcome to the Jungle, Sundowner and Ramayana.
