Mahira Khan reacts to object being thrown at her on stage: “It’s unacceptable”

Pakistani actress Mahira Khan Recently attended the Pakistan Literature Festival in Quetta, where a member of the crowd threw an object at the stage where she was sitting. The actress has reacted to the incident in her latest Instagram post. She shared a clip from the event and captioned it, “What happened at the event was uncalled for. No one should think it’s okay to throw something on stage, even if it’s a flower wrapped in a paper airplane. It just sets it up wrong. It’s unacceptable at times I’m afraid.” I think, not just for me, but for others who get caught up in mob situations.

Mahira Khan Sharing her stance on the event, she added in her extensive post, “But listen to me – on our way back someone said ‘we won’t be having an event here after this’. I totally disagree. That’s not the case. Crowds of 10,000 or more here. Was… 1 in 10,000, maybe I wouldn’t have been put on the spot… There could and should have been plenty.”

The Humsafar The actress added in her post, “What I strongly feel is – we need more incidents like this in Pakistan’s cities. The more you expose yourself, the more aware and educated you will be. Make it normal. And see what happens. .people, cities , our understanding of each other… it will all flourish, we sat together, had a delicious meal. Thank you for the extraordinary amount of love.. and every time we will be better.

In the viral clip, looking at the object, Mahira Khan said, “Wow… This would be wrong (This is wrong).” When Mahira Khan was asked by the host to recite a dialogue from her film, Mahira replied, “If you throw cheese now, there will be no communication. (I won’t say any dialogue because you threw something. There is no room for dialogue).” The video was posted by X (formerly known as Twitter), a number of fan pages dedicated to the actress.
