Alia Bhatt’s custom embroidered saree beautifully interpreted this year’s Met Gala theme – “The Garden of Time” with a dress code of “Sleeping Beauty: Reawakening Fashion”. The actress was styled by Anaita Shroff who accompanied her at the Met Gala.
Before appearing on the red carpet, Alia Bhatt told Vogue, “The design of the sari, its translucent, glass-like appearance is not only a recognition of the ethereal quality of the garden in Ballard’s story, but also a tribute to excellence, the eternal art of sari-making.”
Alia Bhatt added, “What drew me to this look is how traditional craftsmanship merges with avant-garde aesthetics. Sabyasachi, known for his dedication to bringing together old-world charm with modern sophistication, felt like a fitting choice. The theme of this year’s Met Gala incorporate.”
Alia Bhatt made her Met Gala debut last year in a Prabal Gurung dress. Since then, she has added Hollywood credits to her resume with Netflix releases. The color of the stone, starring Gal Gadot. Alia was last seen in a film directed by Karan Johar Love story of Rocky and Rani And working on her next film JigraWhich she is also producing.
