On the special occasion of Mother’s Day, actress Preity Zinta opened up about how her life changed after the arrival of her children – Jai and Jiya. “Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there. I never imagined that becoming a mom would change me so much. If someone had told me 3 years ago, I would willingly be behind anyone in the world. Every time, I would have laughed and dismissed it, now kids Always comes first “It doesn’t matter how tired I am, how busy I am or how hungry I am,” she wrote on Instagram.
Preity shared that she feels like a superhuman when she is surrounded by her twins.
“The joy and pure joy I feel looking at them brightens my darkest days, and I feel a supernatural power when I need to protect them. I’m sure I’m not the only mom who feels this way. Sadly, we only begin to appreciate .When our mothers come into that role and spend all their time at home, it’s really a job with no promotion.
“If you’re lucky when you grow up they’ll appreciate you when they become a parent otherwise it’s all about giving, loving and nurturing without expectations. So give your mom a big hug and say thank you love and appreciate her Because moms are the closest thing to god #Happymothersday #loveuma #ting,” she wrote.
To make her Mother’s Day post more adorable, she uploaded a video showing her adorable moments with her mom and her own children. On 11 November 2021, Preeti and her husband Gene Goodenough welcomed their twins, a boy named Jai and a girl named Gia, via surrogacy.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Preity is all set to return to the silver screen after a long break. She will be seen sharing the screen with Sunny Deol in ‘Lahore 1947’.
