Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s throwback videos always manage to throw the internet into a frenzy. A clip now circulating online has an old media interaction of Aishwarya where a journalist misattributes her statement. In the video, a media person asks her about an interview where she talked about moving to Hollywood. On this, the actress expressed her displeasure saying, “when did i say Why in an interview? No, you show me this interview, then we’ll talk. (When did I say that? In which interview? No, show me that interview, then we’ll talk).” She asks another reporter, “Have I said this in any interview? (Did I say this in any interview?)” to which the journalist replies, “I didn’t hear.”
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan added, “If you have any questions please do so. Do not attribute statements to me. If I have worked, I have worked in a Tamil film first, I have worked in a Hindi film, I have worked in a Bengali film and now I am working in some English films. But that doesn’t mean I’m shifting anywhere or that I’m part of any other industry. It’s just broadening your experience. (If you want to ask questions, go ahead. Don’t attribute the statements to me. If I have worked, I have worked in Tamil films first, I have worked in Hindi films, I have worked in Bengali films and now I’m doing some English. Working in films. But that doesn’t mean I’m shifting anywhere or becoming a part of any other industry. It’s just about broadening my experience.)

This is not the only instance of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan being upset with the media. In 2017, the actress attended a charity event at the hospital along with her mother, Vrinda Rai.And her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan, during the event, Aishwarya tried to ask the media to keep calm and not create a ruckus in the hospital. “We are here, we are not going anywhere,” she said. You will all get your photos, but please remember we are in a hospital. Please be quiet.” Despite her efforts, the situation continued to spiral out of control, prompting the actress to add, “We’re not at the premiere, it’s not a public event. What happened to you?”
Asking the media to show respect to the patients, Aishwarya noted, “They are not from our world, we all know this business, they don’t. Please show some respect.”
