Parineeti Chopra is ravishing in the success of Amar Singh Chamkila, the film is a biopic on the late singer Amar Singh Chamkila, who was murdered on 8 March 1988 at the age of 27. Amar Singh Chamkila was the highest selling record artist of Punjab at that time. Diljit Dosanjh stars in the film which also stars Parineeti Chopra as Amarjot, his partner and frequent musical collaborator. Parineeti posted a scene from the film, in which she is seen recreating Amarjot’s singing style. “A fact about me: I love it when directors challenge me. Thanks Imtiaz Ali sir for pushing me to do my best in every scene,” Parineeti Chopra captioned the post.

Amar Singh Chamkila The film is directed by Imtiaz Ali and the music of the film is composed by AR Rahman. The film was released on April 12 on streaming giant Netflix. Besides Amar Singh ChamkilaImtiaz Ali and AR Rahman have worked together in similar films before Rockstar, Highway, Tamasha.
