In a recent appearance on Read the room podcast, the actress discussed how she learned to deal with rejection in her work. Priyanka said, “I have seen a lot of rejection in the film industry due to many reasons. There are many reasons, whether I was not suitable for the role, whether there was bias, whether someone’s girlfriend was cast. I made peace long ago. That is reality. We all can say ‘I am better than that, I am confident’. This is not true. You have to let yourself feel the rejection. This is sad. I’m someone who does that. I will go ahead. I’ll brush that aside. A long time ago, I came to peace with rejection at work.”
During the same podcast, Priyanka Chopra also discussed how she and her husband are doing Nick Jonas have accepted each other’s culture.
