In a recent interview with Zoom, Rakul Preet Singh revealed that she forced Jackie to propose before marriage. She said, “Nobody knows the story of the proposal. I forced him to propose to me properly. I said, ‘I’m not walking down the aisle until you propose.’ Because the wedding date was fixed, why didn’t he propose, I know we are going to get married but I want a story for life.”
She added, “I kept telling him, ‘You have to propose. Whatever you do, it’s two or three months away, now you decide.’ It surprised me and Bhumi (Pednekar) played a huge role, as any of my close friends would have done.
Rakul Preet Singh and Jackie Bhagnani got married on February 21 this year.
