Ranbir Kapoor has found a new fan in Pushpa star Fahadh Faasil. In a new interview with Movie CompanionsFahad called Ranbir ‘the best actor in the country’. During an interview when the actor was asked about the impact of his films and his image as an actor, he said, “I don’t want to hide anything, I have to be honest. I am doing my work here. No disrespect whatsoever. I don’t think people expect magic from me, Pushpa. It is a pure collaboration, love for Suku (Sukumar) sir. Here is my luggage. Quite clearly. This doesn’t suit me as I and many of my friends believe and believe that Vicky Kaushal is the invention of the decade. Rajkummar Rao is one of the best actors India has ever produced. Ranbir (Kapoor), i.e. the best actor in the country. So I don’t know what they see in me.”
Fahadh also shared his thoughts on being recognized as an All India Star. He added, “No, I am just an actor. I have nothing to do with India as a whole. I just do my job. And I do what I believe and the idea that movies never do business. That… that’s secondary. But the films I do here, I cannot do anywhere else.” He also shared that he wants to interact with people once the film is out and is excited to see how the audience can explore the film.
The makers of Pushpa: The Rule (Pushpa 2) shared Fahadh Faasil’s first look from the film a few weeks back. Fahadh Faasil, who plays the antagonist in the film, is seen in the poster smoking a cigarette drenched in shades of red. This poster has been shared on the occasion of the actor’s 41st birthday. The caption on the tweet shared by the makers reads, “Team Pushpa The Rules wishes the massively talented Fahadh Faasil a very happy birthday. Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat Sir is back on the big screen with a vengeance.”

Pushpa – The Rule is written and directed by Sukumar. Produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar of Maithri Movie Makers in association with Sukumar Writings, the film will hit the theaters this year.
