A classic by Shyam Benegal churning It has been re-released in theaters. Released in 1976, this film has once again grabbed attention. A special screening was held in Mumbai on Saturday night. The stars were among the attendees Richa ChhadhaAli Fazal, Naseeruddin ShahSwara Bhaskar, Pratik Babbar and Jackie Shroff.
Richa Chadha looked gorgeous in a blue dress. Her plus one was the usual suspects and her husband Ali Fazal. Ali was caught on camera. Swara Bhaskar looked gorgeous in a tissue saree. Jackie Shroff Photographs were also taken at the venue. Late actress Smita Patil’s son and actor Prateek Babbar was spotted twinning with her fiancee Priya Banerjee. Take a look at the photos below.
ICYMI: churning It is the only Indian film to be screened in the Cannes Classics section of the film festival. The film also stars Naseeruddin Shah, Girish Karnad, Smita Patil and Amrish Puri. Recently, the film premiered at a prestigious festival in Salle Bunuel. Nirmala Kurien, daughter of Ratna Pathak Shah, Pratik Babbar and Varghese Kurien (the visionary behind India’s White Revolution) attended the screening.
For the underprivileged, churning Based on Dr Varghese Kurian’s Milk Cooperative Movement. 5 lakh farmers donating ₹ 2 each thronged the film. The film also starred Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Anant Nag and Suresh Bedi.
