Horror-comedy ants It started well at the box office. 1, the film grossed ₹4 crore Sacknilk Report directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, ants Abhay Verma plays Bittu, Sharwari Wagh plays Bela and Mona Singh plays Bittu’s mother, Pammi. The film tells the story of Bittu, who returns to his ancestral village and accidentally unleashes an angry ghost named Munjya. He then tries to save himself and Bella from this ghost. Their encounter with Munjya is both funny and scary in equal measure.

In review for NDTVFilm critic Saibal Chatterjee said ants 1.5 out of 5 stars and wrote, “antsBrilliantly shot by cinematographer Saurabh Goswami, it’s rarely scary enough to trigger jump scares…Acting ants Mercifully not as over the top as the plot. The spotlight is on the eponymous animal but Abhay Varma as the boy struggles to hold on to his sanity. Mona Singh, Sharwari Wagh and Suhas Joshi (a pivotal role in Bittu’s Ajji, Munjya’s backstory) are all enough in the film that they don’t really get attention.”

ants It is directed by Aditya Sarpotdar whose 2015 Marathi film Classmates became a huge hit. ants It is backed by Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik under Maddock Films.
