Attention, Karan Johar has some good news to share with you all. Saturday night Love story of Rocky and Rani The director shared an update on his upcoming film Mr & Mrs Mahi starring the talented duo Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor. Mr. and Mrs. Mahi, which is backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, is set to release on May 31 this year. Sharing the news, Karan Johar wrote, “Some films are more than just stories… They are more than celluloid love… They talk to the viewers about dreams and how often people close to us can come in the way of our dreams. . . MR and MRS MAHI are very close to our hearts. .. and we can’t wait to share our campaign designs on Monday… but now we have the release date for you!!!

Last year, Janhvi Kapoor announced the final wrap of her upcoming film Mr. and Mrs. Mahi. The actress took to Instagram to share a series of pictures and videos from the sets of the sports drama. The opening slide consisted of a bat, helmet and gloves. Along with the album, Janhvi opened up about the journey that started two years ago. She wrote, “It’s been 2 years since I picked up my bat for the first time. And now we have finally wrapped #MrandMrsMahi. I thought I would feel light and relaxed today because we all gave this film more than we could have. But I feel kind of empty. Like a blank canvas. I feel like we’ve been to war and back, and I’ve seen a lot of heroes in action.”
Janhvi Kapoor ended the note saying, “In many ways, waking up this morning felt like a rebirth. “Every act of creation is first an act of destruction.” It’s safe to say that at many points it felt like the grind was destroying us. And we were destroyed mentally, physically, but I believe in what we built from it. You can’t wait for people to see it.” Responding to the post, Karan Johar said, “Can’t wait to see the first cut!!!!” Janhvi’s sister Anshula Kapoor added red hearts to the post.
For the underprivileged, Mr. and Mrs. Mahi Marks the second collaboration between Janhvi and Rajkumar.
