Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao’s latest offering Mr. and Mrs. Mahi On the third day, it earned impressively at the box office. The sports-drama grossed ₹ 5.50 crore Sacknilk Report the film’s total earnings so far is Rs 16.85 crore. Directed by Sharan Sharma, the film tells the story of Mahima, a doctor who marries a failed but talented cricketer, Mahendra. In time, Mahendra realized that his wife was a talented cricketer and decided to train her to become a professional. The film also stars Zarina Wahab, Rajesh Sharma and Kumud Mishra in important roles. Mr. and Mrs. Mahi is jointly produced by Zee Studios and Dharma Productions.
A day ahead Mr. and Mrs. Mahi’s release, Janhvi Kapoor shared a BTS video from the sets on Instagram. In the clip, the actress dresses up as her character. As the cameraman approached her, Janhvi said, “Kya hai? (What?)”, “What happened? (Done, right?”, “Aaj ke liye itna hi padaji milaga (This is all the footage you will get today.))” she motions with her hand signaling the cameraman to stop filming. Soon a happy Janhvi asks if she can change Janhvi’s mood.

Film critic Saibal Chatterjee in a review for NDTV Mr. and Mrs. Mahi 2 out of 5 stars. He wrote, “The lead actors do their best to involve us in the story and the emotions of the two main characters. Rajkummar Rao, always in unison, conveys Mahendra’s accusations, some against his father, some against his wife, with such conviction that the lines the character speaks are self-pitying.
