Karthik Aaryan, who is gearing up for his much awaited release Chandu Champion, Recently in an interview, he commented on his past rift with Karan Johar Lalantopspeaking on the alleged rift that arose after Dharma walked out of the production Dostana 2, Karthik said, “See, a very old story is being told. Sometimes there are a lot of misunderstandings and sometimes a lot of thinking goes out of proportion and especially when they write it makes more noise.” (This news is pretty stale by now. Without divulging too many details, Karthik said that work is his first priority and he doesn’t want to get into any controversy. Karthik Aaryan and Karan Johar hit the headlines when they shared the stage at the Indian Film Festival Melbourne 2023. On Karthik’s birthday last year, Dharma Productions and Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms Limited jointly announced a film with Karthik in the lead role. It will be directed by Sandeep Modi and will release on August 15, 2025.
