Jacqueline Fernandez, who was in the French Riviera for the prestigious film festival earlier this week, spoke to Brut about the worst advice an actor gave her in the early days of her career. Speaking to Brut, she said, “Very early in my career, I was in the gym and I was explaining to this actor that I have to go to this course and I have to go to this class. And I’m training. For this, and then I’m working here. , and he was like, ‘Listen, just focus on looking good, and you’ll be fine.’ And I think that was the worst advice I ever got, trying to make it in the industry.”
She added, “I think a lot of people care about your physical appearance. As I was told many times to get a nose job. And it was crazy because I’ve been here really loving my nose and never thought about doing anything. And so some people in the past told me that it should be, you know, ‘You should think about getting it done.’ And it’s mostly physical, and that’s the sad thing.”
