Chunky Pandey has opened up about his long relationship with the superstar Shah Rukh Khanthe actor recently appeared Expired with Ankit And talked about SRK’s earlier days in Mumbai. In his conversation, Chunky Pandey revealed that there was a time when Shah Rukh Khan lived in a rented house with his wife, interior designer Gauri Khan. The actor said, “I think his first friend when he came to Mumbai was my younger brother Chikki (Pandey). They are still best friends. So, at that time they (Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan) were renting a place and they used to visit my brother. Everyone watched the video cassette.so he and Gauri were often at my house.
Chunky Pandey added that he always believed that Shah Rukh Khan would become a “superstar”. He added, “With Shah Rukh, I was sure that the boy was going to be a superstar. Because he had it in him, you could see that fire…he always had it. This talent was always with him before he became a superstar. So he is very confident and knows where he is going. I mean, yeah, definitely very proud that I’ve known him since then. He hasn’t changed.”
Earlier Chunky Pandey’s daughter, Actress Ananya Pandey, she revealed that she spent a lot of time at Shahrukh Khan’s house during her childhood. In an interview with No filter Neha, Ananya, who is Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan’s best friend, talked about going on playdates at the superstar’s house. The actress said, “I think he’s just a type of guy… We didn’t feel that way. He didn’t make us feel that way. I don’t think he thought anyone would. The person in front of him feels like a king. He has this wonderful quality.”
She added, “Shah Rukh sir is a very inclusive person. Like this year KKR (Kolkata Knight Riders), they won their first IPL and he was like ‘because of you three, you are my lucky charm, you will always be with me’. So he always feels special to us. When we were kids, I don’t think we even realized that.”
