Taapsee Pannu tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend, Danish badminton player Mathias Boe, in a private ceremony in Udaipur in March. Like other Bollywood brides, Taapsee wore a lehenga and designer bridal trousseau for her wedding. In a recent chat with Hindustan Times, Taapsee Pannu revealed that her wedding dress was designed by one of her college friends. When asked about choosing traditional salwar kameez over lehengas for her wedding, Taapsee told HT City, “I grew up watching Sikh, Gurdwara weddings, so for me the vintage idea, the classic idea of getting married was always there. The right red is what I know makes a bride look like a bride and Imagining wearing a pastel colored lehenga didn’t feel like a real wedding atmosphere to me.”

Actually, Taapsee didn’t choose a lehenga for any of her wedding events because she wanted to do “a lot of dancing”. Taapsee said, “Also when you have a big name on board, the chances of news getting out are very high and I wanted to keep it very private. So my college friend, Mani Bhatia, designed all my outfits, and I didn’t want a single lehenga throughout my wedding. It was because I had to dance a lot at all the functions.”

Taapsee has not posted any photo or video of the wedding on her social media feed. However, videos of her bridal entry into music went viral. In her wedding video, Taapsee Pannu, dressed as a traditional Punjabi bride, is seen dancing her heart out during her entrance. Taapsee is seen playing with Kalira and Chuda. As she reaches the stage, groom Matthias Boe is seen hugging her. Matthias Bo, whose face is covered with sehra, appears in traditional dress. The video also documents moments from their wreath exchange ceremony. Mathias is seen kissing Taapsee on her cheek. Take a look here:

According to sources, Before the wedding, the couple had a mehendi and music ceremony. The pre-wedding celebration and wedding took place between 21st and 24th March. Taapsee’s Thappad co-star Pavel Gulati and her dear friends Abhilash Thapliyal (Aspiring actor) and screenwriter Kanika Dhillon attended the wedding. Badminton players Satwiksai Raj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty, coached by Mathais Boi, also attended the wedding. The wedding was organized by The Wedding Factory, an event management company owned by Taapsee, her sister Shagun Pannu and Farah Sood.
