KD – The Devil also stars Sanjay Dutt in an important role. The film is not Shilpa Shetty’s first project in the Kannada film industry. She has also acted in the 1998 films Preethsod Thappa and Ravichandra’s Ondgona Baa and the 2005 film Auto Shankar. KD – The Devil is set in the late sixties and seventies. Dhruv Sarja plays a gangster in the film, which also stars Ravichandran.
