Superstar Aamir Khan on Friday said that he is trying to make a sequel to his classic film Sarfarosh For a long time and the team is now more serious than developing a follow-up. Considered one of the best films of Aamir’s career, the John Mathew Mathen directed film completed 25 years on Friday. “I have been asking John (director) to make it for years Sarfarosh 2, and the movie ends in a way that we can make a part two of this movie. I’ve told John that if he writes a good story, we can make one Sarfarosh 2this time he told me he was trying,” Aamir Khan said ahead of the film’s release.
“One thing I can promise is that we will definitely give it a serious shot now, coming up with the right script and the right kind of film (part two) for it,” he added.

The story revolves around an honest police officer Ajay Singh Rathore (Khan), who meets and befriends a famous Pakistani ghazal singer, Gulfam Hasan (Naseeruddin Shah). While investigating arms smuggling in Rajasthan, Rathod’s life takes a turn.
Aamir Khan said he couldn’t believe it Sarfarosh has completed 25 years and added that he is grateful for all the love and appreciation the film has received.
“The film is still fresh in my mind and seems like it was released two-four years ago. I have seen the film many times and it’s been a long time since I saw it. I bet if we release this film, the audience will watch it again in theatres. will come to watch because it is a good film,” he said.
