Moderated by Preity Zinta On Monday X (formerly known as Twitter) had an Ask Me Anything session and questions about IPL matches were bound to pop up. A fan wanted to know how many parathas Preity had on the night during Punjab Kings’ record chase against KKR. The fan wrote, “How many parathas did you make on record chase night from our boys vs kkr?” Preity, co-owner of Punjab Kings, replied, “I was shooting for Lahore 1947 that day, and it was a very difficult shoot because it was very hot and I had a crying scene. So technically, when our team broke the highest score in a T20 match. Chasing the world record, I was crying at the second time, space and world.” FYI, Preity Zinta is currently shooting for Lahore 1947 directed by Raj Kumar Santoshi and co-starring Sunny Deol. On 26 April, Punjab Kings set a new world record for highest run chase in T20 cricket history as they chased down the target of 262 runs set by Kolkata Knight Riders by eight wickets.

A few months ago, Preity shared a set of side-by-side images of her with husband Gene Goodenough to wish her on their wedding anniversary. In the first picture, Gene is seen kissing Preity on the cheek as she smiles heartily. The carousel post features an in-flight picture, a picture from their beach vacation, and a happy picture of them together. Preity wrote in the caption, “Happy birthday to my better half. What can I say about you. You are my love for all reasons and all seasons. Thank you for being the best husband and father and holding the fort while I’m away. Preity Zinta and Gene Goodenough got married in 2016 in a private ceremony in Los Angeles. They welcomed twins in 2021 via surrogacy. They are the parents of Jia and Jai.
