Now his father, Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has taken a walk down memory lane for its 20th anniversary youth, on Thursday, the veteran star shared a throwback picture on Instagram. It was clicked during an award show, where Abhishek was felicitated for his performance youth, in an emotional note with a picture, Amitabh Bachchan told how Abhishek gave him the award. Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan are seen standing side by side with the award in their hands. Sharing the photo, Amitabh Bachchan wrote, “When Abhishek won the award youth…When his name was announced, he took me on stage and gave me the award… I said It’s not mine, it’s yours. And what is mine is yours, (It’s not mine. It’s yours. And what’s mine is yours too)…Today marks 20 years since its release. What a movie and what a performance brother…you are the best.”

Prior to that, following the publication of Ghoomar, Abhishek Bachchan’s sports drama, Amitabh Bachchan A note of good wishes was shared on Instagram. Sharing a poster of the film, Big B wrote, “Bhaiyu (Abhishek)… my love and best wishes Ghoomar…seen a few shots and it’s amazing how you (Abhishek) change and adapt the characters to suit the theme of the film… My prayers and wishes always… Love.” Apart from Abhishek Bachchan, the film also stars Saiyami Kher, Shabana Azmi and Angad Bedi.
