We are waiting for Sonakshi Sinha to appear in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Hiramandi: Diamond Bazaar, the actress recently opened up about her personal and professional life in an exclusive chat with NDTV. Sonakshi, along with her co-stars Richa Chhadha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sharmin Sehgal, Manisha Koirala, and Sanjeeda Shaikh not only discussed their project but also shared some personal anecdotes. During the conversation, Richa mentioned how she got married just 10 days before shooting for a song for the serial, while Aditi just got married soon after wrapping up shop and Sharmeen Sehgal just got married. Richa recalls jokingly telling director Sanjay Leela Bhansali: “It’s like a marriage bureau.” Asked if she was next in line, Sonakshi playfully replied, “Thank you for your wishes.” When further inquired if she had already chosen a partner, Sonakshi smiled and said, “No, let me choose first. Then I will let you know.” It is worth noting that Sonakshi Sinha is rumored to be dating her Double XL Co-starring Zaheer Iqbal.

Sonakshi Sinha is playing a negative role in this Hiramandi: Diamond Bazaar. In an earlier interview, Dr etimes, Sonakshi Sinha talked about her long-standing desire to play an antagonist. She said, “I always wanted to play a villain, like a dark character because my father (Shatrughan Sinha) started his career and that was on my bucket list. I am very happy and very excited about this role.”

“I just want to play good characters and different roles and I am constantly striving for that. Over the past few years, I have been choosing different roles to play on screen- such as strong female roles and that’s what I want to remember, and Hiramandi Thank you Sanjay sir, a big stamp of approval,” added Sonakshi Sinha.

At the trailer launch event of Hiramandi: Diamond Bazaar, Sanjay Leela Bhansali He got the idea for the story 14 years ago. As quoted by TOIThe filmmaker said, “I must thank Moeen Baig who brought the idea to me 14 years ago. But I didn’t turn it back, I entered it. Hiramandi: Diamond Bazaar It will start streaming on Netflix from May 1. The serial will also feature Shekhar Suman, Fardeen Khan and Adhyan Suman.
