Kareena Kapoor, Appointed as a National Ambassador by UNICEF India, she shared her parenting tips and spoke at an event in Delhi about how she tries to inculcate ideas of equality in her children regardless of gender. Kareena Kapoor also spoke about how husband Saif Ali Khan ensures proper behavior in front of his children. Kareena said on the show, “I think children who see not only their father but also their mother work, they have a kind of respect that I can be busy too. Today was a holiday and they wanted me to come home. But I Told him I want to go to work, ‘You always go to Delhi and Dubai for work, I want to stay with you.’ I told him that work was also important and promised to come back and give him more time so that he would not feel neglected in any way (as reported by Indian Express),
Talking about children’s imitative nature and how they pick up habits by observing their parents, Kareena said, “Also, they pick up habits from how parents talk to each other. Saif always tells me that we talk lovingly to each other and so our kids will talk lovingly to each other and to others, I Trying to instill respect in both my children.
