The trailer of the biopic opens with a quote from Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam is beaming on the screen which reads, “A dream is not what you see in your sleep, it is what keeps you awake.” After a few seconds, we got Dr. A classroom full of students was seen in front. APJ Abdul Kalam. Everyone ultimately expresses what they want to be. When it’s Rajkummar Rao’s turn, he stands up and proclaims, “Main desh ka pehla netrahin president banna chahta hoon.” The whole class laughs at this, makes fun of him. About the film – The film is based on the life of Indian entrepreneur Srikant Bolla, who gained recognition as the founder of Bolant Industries, which provides opportunities to the unskilled and differently-abled to create eco-friendly products. Born blind in 1992 in a small village near Hyderabad, India, Srikanth’s story is one of remarkable perseverance and success. He was also the first international blind student to study at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
